140CRA93101 is an electrochemical component.

140CRA93101 is commonly used to measure a variety of toxic and non-toxic gases, such as carbon monoxide, oxygen and hydrogen. These components work based on the main methods of 

chemical oxidation and reduction, producing an electric current proportional to the gas being measured. Most components consist of three electrodes: the working pole (WE), the counter pole 

(CE), and the reference pole (RE). The working electrode (WE) oxidizes or reduces the target gas and then generates an electric current proportional to the concentration of the gas.

140CRA93101 The assembly may also have a variety of functional features, such as a potentiostat circuit that provides current to the CE (and bias it when needed).
